Earlier today, in federal court in Los Santos, Caetana Carlota, a Portuguese criminal, pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy, admitting his involvement in acts of loansharking and illegal gambling. Jose Eduardo Santos, his suspected captain, is the last defendant to plead guilty in a superseding indictment that charged him and six members and associates of the group.  

 

As detailed in the superseding indictment and other court filings, between Janaury 2002 and December 2023, Carlota, her associates and her co-conspirators engaged in a racketeering conspiracy, which included predicate crimes of loansharking, operating illegal gambling businesses, narcotics distribution conspiracy and obstruction of justice conspiracy.  They have been sentenced to life in prison in a Federal Prison of Las Venturas.

Caetana had a little brother, hidden in the shadows of her criminal organization - “A kid, he’s just a kid” - She says to her associates in the 90’s decade. Such kid, grew up, empty hands, broke, no sister and no parents, completely alone. Life was hard on him.  Today, the kid no longer exists. It’s a grown man with an ambition:

This sentence, hits hard as a rock but he wants to bring an empire to Los Santos and he won’t stop. During his lonely path, he ended up meeting a friend, a true friend, and now, they are both looking the same direction.  

“We will conquer, We will rise”. 

 

They call themselves as The Solaria Syndicate. Why? Solaria is connected to the sun, which means, light. They want to bring darkness over Los Santos. It’s a contradictory name but will do the job and spread the word around Los Santos. In their vision, that’s light, not darkness. They came from the darkness and they want to bring life to the oppressed people of Los Santos. 

They are starting from sratch. A  few Glocks, UZI, Tec-9, but with their  master-minds and their plans, for sure, a different type of clouds will be hovering over Los Santos soon.

Why a snake on the logo? 

     - “The snake transmits fear, control, power and also disgust from the others. We are these ones, hated by many and loved by none but, soon, they will fear us and after the frear, comes control!”

The Solaria Syndicate plans are based on fear and control with no need to shoot a single bullet.  “-As last resource, holes will be made in the forehead of our oppersors!”
